The Rite is one of the most moving films I've watched so far this year. Though it seemed scary at the beginning, it ended more as a drama type for me. It struck me hard since it contains a lot of truths that I can relate to, have been thinking of, or have been running away from. These truths I faced as I watched strengthened the small voice of faith inside me. Some serious points that struck me include the ff:
1. Evil and the devil are real.
2. Not believing the devil will not protect you from him.
3. Prayer and faith in God are our pillars or strongholds.
4. God will never leave us.
In general, the film showed to me God's love and the fact that some of us truly are handpicked to be His instruments - born to make miracles in this world. And that revelation makes me happy.
